No need to learn foreign language ..your mobile will speak and translate for you!

Sounds interesting? Yeah, now your mobile will translate and speak for you.

Coolgorilla, mobile and ipod software providing site have the software to download. Go tocoolgorilla.com and
check for Mobile Phone Talking Phrasebook. If you are surfing from mobile then click for coolgorilla.mobi. This is talking phrasebook which you can install on your mobile. It currently supports French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Greek. It will be very useful application while traveling in those countries. Right now Talking Phrasebook available for Nokia and Sony Ericsson handsets. Hope they will release J2ME and window mobile version (cab)!

Google Talk now has bots for translation. You can try it, just add en2fr@bot.talk.google.com bot in your friend list. And there are total 23 translation bots. ar2en, de2en, de2fr, el2en, en2ar, en2de, en2el, en2es, en2fr, en2it, en2ja, en2ko, en2nl, en2ru, en2zh, es2en, fr2de, fr2en, it2en, ja2en, ko2en, nl2en, ru2en, zh2en. What you need to add ‘@bot.talk.google.com’ after these bot names. Rule is "[from language]2[to language]@bot.talk.google.com"

Now, how can you use it with mobile? Simple, use fring. Add those bots in gtalk buddy list and subscribe/login to gtalk using fring on your mobile. Now, you have them on your mobile.

Running You Tube, FLV videos on Windows mobile and Nokia Symbian.

I was searching for running youtube videos on windows mobile from long back. But whenever I was pressing run video link on youtube TCPMP player was not supporting with showing error in format. Grrr.. what to do?

Then, while searching for flv player for windows mobile, I came across TCPMP FLV Plugin , an open source plug-in developed for TCPMP player. Download this TCPMP with its FLV plug-in and start using the YouTube. One thing you need to make sure that you have an unlimited internet data plan on your mobile, because these videos will take lot of bandwidth.

TCPMP player supports multiple audio and video format supported, however this is closed open source project. Commercial version for this is available as CorePlayer. TCPMP player is only for windows based systems only.

Now, if you have other than windows mobile how you can surf and view videos on your Nokia mobiles?

Yes, it has a solution. emTube is freeware application for Symbian based mobiles. It is written by Sebastian Jedruszkiewicz. If you like this application, you can donate the author.
